SupeRugby Semi-Final PreJudgement:

Three games left and its all to play for. The four best teams have made it into the Semi-Finals and are playing for a spot in the final and two wins away from being crowned 2011 Champions. The games will be hosted in Brisbane and Cape Town with the Blues and Crusaders being the respective visitors. Click below to see my winners and why Cape Town will host the Final...

Reds v Blues (Brisbane)
The Reds have come off a welcome weeks rest and are welcoming back three first choicers after injury. Beau Robinson, Digby Ioane and Anthony Faingaa all return to the starting line up for this crucial clash.
The Blues have been getting better and better and have sorted out their backline issues which complements quite a solid pack. This is a tough call as a PreJudgement as looking at the Reds and their season they do look unstoppable, however the Blues are looking equally as good in my opinion.

Stormers v Crusaders (Cape Town)
The saddest thing about this game is the disgusting behavior by South African 'Kiwi's'. Those born and bread Capetonians who swear their allegiance to any and every New Zealand team and using the excuse of apartheid as why... My words to you... Cheers, move on and away. Pick the North or South Island as I don't particularly care. (P.S: Did you know that New Zealand has a North and a South Island?)
To the more important SupeRugby now...
There are way too many things that need click together for any of these teams to dominate and win convincingly. The Stormers need to see where the Sharks went wrong and put early points and pressure on the Crusaders. Not only that but keep relenting with 80 minutes of it. The Crusaders have traveled from far but are the most experienced team in this competition when it comes to knock out games. They welcome back Richie McCaw to the starting line up and will hope his skill and experience will pull them through.
The Stormers will be very focused for the task at hand as well as completely aware of what they will be up against as they faced the Crusaders at Newlands earlier on in the year. They need to stop quick backline ball and there might be a an opportunity to put some pressure on the injured Kieran Reid and newly returned Richie Mccaw.

  1. Get off your soap box and stop whinning about who people CHOOSE to support. Its their constitutional right ( freedom of choice). This argument or topic of conversation is becoming very tired, just let it go!!
You know where my allegiances lay but, you will be glad to know that i am backing the Stormers for the win.
