SupeRugby PreJudgement: Crusaders v Sharks

V

The Sharks take on the Crusaders in Nelson on Saturday to break a hoodoo that borders on the impossible. The Sharks have never beaten the Crusaders in a 'home' game in 15 years. The Crusaders have never lost a home knock-out game in their history. Record Breakers or Record Holders?

The Crusaders not only have great history to back them they welcome back Sonny Bill Williams, Sean Maitland and Kahn Fotuali'i. another notable change is Wyatt Crockett starting in the place of Ben Franks. This team has to be supremely confident in winning this week and taking on the Stormers in the Semi's.
The Sharks on the other hand have overcome their end of season scare and overcame their own little demons to beat the Bulls into the wild cards. The Sharks seem to be a little more solid with their backline with the addition of Frederic Michalak and Patrick Lambie is devastating no matter what number he has on his back. The Sharks are relishing the underdog tags they have this week but I am struggling to call this game. I think the Sharks have the better bench and if they come out firing from the word go can maintain the pressure.

PreJudgement: Sharks by 1
