After the Boks got there asses handed to them by the Aussies they decided to make some changes to the team. This was expected but they are more on the exciting side...for a change. Will the positional changes and new combo's stop us from getting destroyed again? I think so.
The rumors seem to be true that Patrick Lambie will be running out at 10 and Morne Steyn at 15. As interesting as this is I think it is an awesome move. Lambie is playing good rugby at the moment and is confident where as Steyn is off his game. De Jongh and Jacobs will be bolstering the centre positions against Nonu and Smith.
The backlines are going to have a great battle but I think the home team have this one. Basson is another worry for me on defense, I am not sure he will be able to cope with the attacking skill and pace of the All Blacks.
Everyone knows that the All Blacks have an exciting and attacking backline but there is going to be a mammoth battle upfront! The Boks need to right the wrong against the Aussies and turn up fighting and unified at scrum time against the Kiwi's. The tight 5 will get torn apart if they do not pitch up and the Boks loosies are bigger but Stegmann needs to pull his finger out his bum this week.
I look at the All Black line up and see a team that I expected to run on barring a few changes. The Springboks do have an exciting looking team and the fans finally get there wish in fielding a different team to the norm.
I really hope the Boks can hold there own after the hiding they got in Australia but unfortunately the writing is on the wall.
