SupeRugby Prejudgement: Blues v Waratahs

V

SupeRugby Qualifier from Auckland, New Zealand

This is it for the rest of the season, Do or Die. Quite a daunting task but that's what all the teams play for, The Final and eventually the Trophy. The Blues host the Waratahs in the first of the new format knock-outs. Who will walk off winners?

The Waratahs just sneaked into the Play-Offs while the Blues were hunting for the 2nd spot over the closing stages of the league format. The Blues have secured a home game and are looking the more solid outfit to me. Apart from backline positional changes the Blues have pretty much kept the same backline through the tournament. The Waratahs have conversely been struck with injuries and are missing key players.
Kurtley Beale has been moved to fly half and Lachie Turner to fullback with Phil Waugh captaining the side. The Blues team is unchanged from last week, with McAlister playing out side Stephen  Brett this combination seems to be the best option there.
The Blues won the last meeting by 20 points and I see a similar result this week.

PreJudgement: Blues by 15
